Michael J. Zeck (1949 – ) is perhaps best known for his work on Marvel’s The Punisher.  A graduate of the Ringling School of Art, he began his professional comic career in 1974 at Charlton Comics. Moving to Marvel in 1977, he would go on to illustrate, in addition to The Punisher mini-series, the martial arts series Master of Kung Fu, the war/toy tie-in series G.I. Joe, and several super hero comics including Captain America, Secret Wars, and the “Kraven’s Last Hunt” storyline that ran through the various Spider-Man titles.

Zeck has also illustrated several of DC’s top characters, including Superman, Batman, Aquaman, and Green Lantern as well as Lobo, Azrael, and Deathstorke.

Other work includes Action Force, Adventures into the Unknown, Alien Encounters, Damned, The Badger, Creepy Things, and many others.
