Mark Sparacio studied sequential art for three years under the legendary Will Eisner at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. His first published art was the movie poster for the United Artist film The Draughtsman’s Contract. After the advertising industry illustration market collapsed, Sparacio moved on from commercial freelance work to comics- his first love.

His list of credits include covers for Alpha-Omega’s Spirit comic book, Billy Tucci’s Shi, DC’s Green Lantern, the convention program for the 2006 Motor City Comic Con featuring Batgirl and Catwoman, the Comic Buyers Guide, Alter Ego, and the Overstreet Price Guide. He has done paintings for card sets for UpperDeck /DC comics and Topps’ Wacky Packages and Garbage Pail Kids. Sparacio also penciled Liberty Girl for Heroic Publishing as well as Ken Lillie-Paetz’ Elsinore for Devil’s Due Publishing.

He currently working on his creator owned comic Omega Paradox, published through Moonstone.
