GREG HORN
A favorite among comic fans for his amazing pinup style illustrations, the work of artist Greg Horn has graced the covers of many DC, Marvel, Image, and Zenescope comics. From his early work on Vampirella, Shadow Reavers, and his own J.U.D.G.E., Horn’s talent has brought him to the forefront as one of the top cover artists in the industry.
Best known for his work at Marvel on such titles as Elektra, Emma Frost, She-Hulk, and Black Widow, Horn has also illustrated such characters as Spider-Man, the X-Men, Iron Man, and the Avengers. At DC, he has worked on such titles as Blackest Night: Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Arrow, Green Lantern Corps, and Justice League: The Rise of Arsenal.
Horn has also illustrated such high-profile, non-comic related projects as the poster artwork for the US Olympic Basketball Team, poster artwork for The Ringling Brothers Circus (work that also appeared as billboards, newspaper ads, window cards, a stadium give-away, and even the official company stationary), and a commission from Nike to illustrate Lebron James for the 2004 NBA season. Horn’s other work includes numerous video game related illustrations, magazine covers, card game illustrations, licensing/merchandising artwork and more.
In 2004, Greg won the Wizard Fan Award’s Best Painter of the Year and has received seven entries in Spectrum’s “Best in Contemporary Fantasy Art.” In 2007, Horn was inducted into the distinguished Society of Illustrators.
