In 1993, Paramount re-released the entire Original Series to VHS. The initial manufacturing run of these videotapes, denoted by a pink sticker on the front of the VHS box, included a limited edition Star Trek trading card from Skybox. Given that the tapes retailed from $9.95 to $14.95, to put together an entire set would have cost you roughly $800 to $1,200 if you bought all the tapes. This card is one of those cards and features a scene from the classic episode “Where No Man Has Gone Before,” the second Star Trek pilot (after network execs nixed the original pilot, “The Cage.” Card is in good condition with a slight corner ding, bottom right. Please note – given that there was no protection for the card when inserted into the package, it’s very difficult to find the cards in nm/mint condition. Card looks great overall and will be shipped with the utmost care.
