Stan Lee Signed Original Spider-Man Art Splash Page by Coleen Doran

This original art page features the work of Colleen Doran from the story by Peter David telling, in graphic form, the story of Stan Lee.  Titled Amazing Fantastic Incredible: A Marvelous Memoir (2015) the story traces Stan Lee’s career, from beginning to the present day, highlighting the creation of some of the most beloved comic characters of all time.  Stan himself serves as guide, and this particular scene features the splash page introducing Spider-man. In this portion of the graphic novel, the story relates Stan’s concern that Jack Kirby (with Doran here illustrating Spider-man in Kirby-fashion) had drawn his concepts for Spidy too heroically.  Stan, of course, ultimately chose Steve Ditko to draw Amazing Fantasy #15 (though Kirby did pencil the issue’s cover with Ditko inking).  A stunning page and, best of all, it is not only signed by the artist, Colen Doran, but is also signed by Stan Lee himself.  Please note- this is an actual, original piece of art pencilled and inked by Doran. It is not a copy, print or pre-printed image.  It is a one-of-a-kind original.  Please further note that the signature of Stan Lee is real- signed by hand by Stan Lee at his 2016 Mega Con appearance in Orlando, Florida.
